A SMALL STUDIO WITH A BIG HEART
Hi, I'm Rashmi! I've been living in Sweden for over a decade now, after spending some time in Finland. My journey as a designer has taken me across India, the USA, Germany, Finland, and Sweden, and I’ve woven these global influences into my designs.
I have studied at Savannah College of Art & Design (USA) and at Aalto University of Design (Finland), and now I run this small business all by myself. Every design starts as a sketch that I draw, and I work closely with artisans from different countries to ensure the highest quality. Sustainability is incredibly important to me, so I limit each design to only 10 units, making each piece truly special.
Jewellery has always been a way to tell stories, and there are many more collections I'm working on. Through my designs, I want to take you on a journey, starting with India, and share the stories of kings, queens, princesses, and the people of today. Jewellery has played such a vital role in our culture, evolving through centuries and influenced by different eras. It’s more than just adornment- it's a reflection of history, identity, and change.
As I build this business, I know I’ll make mistakes, but I’m here to learn. If you have any questions, feedback, or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m excited to share these stories with you and can’t wait to take you on this journey with my designs!
Sustainability and limited production
At Reborn from Sweden, I believe in crafting with intention, not in mass production. My designs are exclusive, with fewer than 10 pieces crafted per style, reflecting our commitment to exclusivity and high-quality craftsmanship.
I am passionate about sustainable practices and strongly oppose fast fashion's disposable nature. From start to finish, I prioritise environmentally conscious choices, including the careful selection of packaging materials that promote reuse and sustainability.
By choosing Reborn from Sweden, you’re supporting a thoughtful approach to fashion - one that values longevity, responsibility, and ethical craftsmanship.
